Overview

As the Oracle Fusion Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and overseeing the technical aspects of the global Oracle Fusion implementation at Cook. In alignment with enterprise architectural practices, you will collaborate closely with a team of stakeholders from the business, IT peers, functional consultants, and developers, to ensure the successful delivery of Oracle Fusion solutions to meet business goals. Your expertise will be critical in guiding the technical design, development, and integration of Oracle Fusion applications at Cook to achieve optimal performance and scalability.

Someone who would be successful in this role has experience driving the success of complex technical Oracle Fusion projects that align with the goals and requirements of their clients and the organization. You should have experience leading the technical implementation of Oracle Fusion solutions, including technical architecture, development, customization, integration, and data migration ensuring adherence to best practices and standards throughout the implementation process. This involves analyzing the current state, defining the future state, and creating a roadmap for the transition.

This role requires that you understand a wide range of technical concepts including server management, relational databases, data structures (e.g., JSON, XML), APIs, programming/scripting, and system integrations. You should have demonstrated experience effectively collaborating with stakeholders including the ability to gather requirements, provide updates, and address technical concerns with both business and technical partners. You should be comfortable executing the day-to-day activities including process design, leading key configuration workshops, identifying Gaps, identify RICEW, and support testing.

You should be able to identify and resolve performance issues within the Oracle Fusion environment as well as conduct system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization activities to ensure optimal system performance and user experience. Experience involving migrations and integrations between existing and newly implemented applications is necessary to fully deliver client value in our connected environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, build, test, and implement IT systems and technology within assigned domain.• Conduct technology or product exploration, prototypes, and pilots that are aligned with overall IT direction to deliver innovative IT solutions.• Evaluate and select technology and that best fit business and project needs.• Develop technology and product standards and define overall platform structures.• Coordinate and explore ways to scale, automate, and increase functionality of services.• Work across multi-disciplined teams and subject matter experts to ensure a well-integrated set of solutions adhere to enterprise standards.• Conduct analysis of industry best practices, emerging technology, and market offerings to proactively advance capabilities.• Identify, communicate, and mitigate potential technical risks per strategy or project.• Serve as a technical escalation point within the team.• Serve as a direct contact point for customers and and suppliers for input on direction.• Provide decision making, leadership, and coaching or mentoring to the extended team.• Demonstrate expert level of communication skills and leading in a highly collaborative and independent environment.• Represent service offerings to stakeholders with a strong customer service orientation.

• Create and manage technology strategies, roadmaps, and architectural artifacts.

Additonal Requirements:

  • Progressive experience implementing Oracle Fusion applications and products with a minimum of 5 years working directly with Oracle Fusion Applications
  • In-depth understanding of Oracle Fusion security, data model, and reporting capabilities
  • Experience with complex extensions, standalone applications, and other creative solutions with Oracle Fusion/OIC/OCI/PaaS solutions: define architecture, technical specifications, oversight of development, plan testing and validation, performance testing and develop post go live maintenance plans
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud modules and their technical components
  • Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and other relevant Oracle technologies.
  • Technical working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Java, XML, JDeveloper, Oracle BI Publisher, APEX, Visual Builder Cloud Service, OIC, Groovy Scripting, FBDI, ADFDi, Cloud Framework native to Oracle Fusion Application preferred
